أعرفه أنه يظهر في النهار بعد المطر نتيجة انعكاس الشمس على قطرات الماء لكن
تبين لي أنه يظهر في الليل أيضاً! يسمى Moonbow أو قوس القمر، في المقطع
أدناه تصوير لهذه الظاهرة في متنزه يوسمايت الوطني الأمريكي حيث يمكن رؤية
قوس المطر عندما يكون القمر بدراً والسماء صافية فينعكس ضوء القمر على
الشلالات ويغتنم العشرات من المصورين هذه الفرصة لالتقاط صور لقوس القمر.
